10 years ago there was a terrible accident.
The land, the animals, got sick.
Everyone got sick.
Everyone had to leave.
Among those, two sisters: Helen and Julia.
Just 10 and 13 years old at the time, they were forced out of their family home, from their land, deep within the interior of the landscape, where they were isolated and protected from the outside world.
Forced into a world they didn’t understand and couldn’t comprehend, they pledged to get back to their home one day.
10 years later, after working through government programs, they meet on the border of the landscape, that land so sick and contaminated that only those with years of training and education can enter.
Once crossing the threshold they find all within changed, mutated, so that there is no knowing where their house is, or if it still exists.
They venture forth, guided by only their nut and ribbon - they have now entered THE ZONE...
